Integrative Acupuncture & Natural Medicine for Mental Health

Serving Pottsville, Byron Shire, Northern Rivers New South Wales

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are valuable tools that have been shown to have a positive effect on mental health conditions such as depression, stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

“Acupuncture has been shown to stimulate nerves and connective tissue resulting in profound effects on the nervous system including regulation of key areas of the brain. This improved function results in the body producing its own natural chemicals involved in pain relief and the reduction of inflammation as well as releasing neurotransmitters that create a feeling of relaxation and well-being.” Acupuncture Now Foundation

Mindstate understands the connection of our mind and body. Whether you are coming specifically for mental health concerns (such as stress, anxiety, or depression), or you want to work on other conditions (such as pain, menstrual irregularities, digestion, etc.), we approach your health in a holistic way, with the understanding that everything in the body is connected and our mood and mental state is sometimes determined by our physical state and our physical state can also be a manifestation of the state of our mind.
